I fell in love with Kailua 12 years ago, back when I was studying on the North Shore of O‘ahu and escaping to the east side every chance I got. The turquoise waves, pastel sunrises, and the laid-back island spirit felt instantly familiar—warm, welcoming, and full of joy. They sparked my love for color, art, and craft, and planted the first seeds of what would one day become Kailua Beads.

Each piece I create is inspired by the vibrant beauty of Kailua and my desire to bring a little happiness into people’s lives. When you open a kit or slip on something made with our beads, I hope you feel the same joy, creativity, and aloha that inspired me on these windward shores.
